You Are Not Just Choosing a Celebrant. You Are Choosing Experience.
When couples first get in touch, they often think they are booking someone to write a ceremony and stand at the front on the day.
Of course, that is part of what I do.
But it is only a small part of the journey.
Before becoming a wedding celebrant, I spent more than twenty years working behind the scenes in the wedding industry. In total, I have now been involved in well over 2,000 weddings.
That experience means that when you book me, you are not simply getting someone to conduct your ceremony. You are getting someone who understands how weddings work from the inside out.
I know how the day flows.
I know what can cause unnecessary stress.
I know how suppliers work together, how venues operate, and how to keep everything feeling calm when emotions are running high.
Over the years I have built relationships with incredible photographers, musicians, florists, venue teams and wedding professionals across Northern Ireland. If you need advice or a recommendation, there is a good chance I can help.
More importantly, I know the questions that couples ask.
Who walks first?
How long should the ceremony last?
Should we write our own vows?
What happens if it rains?
How do we involve children or grandparents?
No question is too small, and no question is ever silly.
If I know the answer, I will happily share it. If I do not, I will find it for you.
That is because my role is not simply to deliver a ceremony. It is to help you feel confident throughout the entire planning process.
Yes, your ceremony matters.
The words matter.
Your story matters.
But so does knowing that someone has your back from the moment you book until you walk back down the aisle together.
My hope is that every couple leaves our planning meetings feeling calmer than when they arrived.
Because when you know you are in safe hands, you can stop worrying about the small things and start looking forward to getting married.
And that is exactly how wedding planning should feel.
