When most couples first get in touch, they think they are booking someone to write a ceremony.

And yes, that is exactly what I do.

I take the time to get to know you, learn your story and create a ceremony that reflects your relationship in a way that feels authentic, personal and completely unique to you.

But after being involved in more than 2,000 weddings over the past two decades, I know that my role goes far beyond the words I write.

Planning a wedding is exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming.

There are decisions you never imagined having to make. Timelines to consider. Family dynamics to navigate. Traditions you may or may not want to include. Questions that seem obvious once you know the answer, but until then can feel surprisingly daunting.

That is where experience makes all the difference.

Over the years I have worked alongside incredible photographers, musicians, florists, venue teams and wedding coordinators. I have seen weddings of every size, style and budget, and I have learned that every couple needs the same thing.

Reassurance.

Sometimes you will want advice on the order of your ceremony.

Sometimes you will want to know whether writing your own vows is the right choice.

Sometimes you will need a recommendation for another trusted supplier.

Sometimes you simply need someone to say, "Yes, that is completely normal."

No question is too small.

No concern is ever a nuisance.

If I know the answer, I will happily share it. If I do not, I will find it for you.

One thing I have learned after more than 2,000 weddings is that the best wedding suppliers do not simply provide a service.

They provide confidence.

My hope is that every meeting, phone call and email leaves you feeling a little calmer than before.

Because when you know someone is looking out for you, you can stop worrying about getting everything perfect and start looking forward to marrying the person you love.

The ceremony will always be one of the most important moments of your wedding day.
